Fishing boats arrival at Karachi’s harbour begins today

Karachi: Fishing boats and lunches arrival at Karachi, Ibrahim Haidri and Korangi harbors have begun from deep sea to land first seafood catch of the new season 2017, as fish, prawns & shrimps catch has increased and it is expected that the catch of seafood from Arabian sea would be increased this year, fishermen source disclose on Thursday.

Spending between 15 to 20 days on the open sea, near to Baluchistan coastal belt close to Iran’s water, crew of large fishing boats, lunches and vessels have started returning to the fishing harbours of Karachi with huge increased catch this year as compared to the last year catch, sources said.

The Arabian Sea near to Makaran & Sindh coastal belt is known for its excellent variety of Shrimps, Prawn, Fish and Crab which bring some of the finest and most sought after seafood to connoisseurs around the globe.
